Program Description:

Glass School at the University of Sunderland


Explore the heritage of Sunderland in Northeastern England and learn the craft of glass-making this summer. Study different techniques to create glass pieces, including using Photoshop to print on glass, hotcasting, and kilnmaking. This three-week program includes day trips to Alnwick Castle (i.e. HOGWARTS!), Beamish (a living museum), and the potential for other trips based on program curriculum.
